There is constant theft happening in our hotel, from the bartenders to the kitchen. Employees somehow find a way to short our inventory by either taking inventory or using it themselves. We have a monthly shortage of $900 to $1100 per month.

General Manager-hotel
1) The hospitality industry often experiences high turnover rates, making it difficult to maintain a stable workforce. During peak seasons, the demand for staff increases, exacerbating the problem. Hotel jobs often require working nights, weekends, and holidays, which can be unappealing to potential employees seeking a better work-life balance.
2) Managing high fixed costs, such as property maintenance, utilities, and staff salaries, while also dealing with variable costs like marketing and customer service enhancements, can strain a hotel's budget
